1. Introduction

FastForward ("we," "our," or "the app") is a mobile application that transforms your Strava activity data into shareable visual cards. This Privacy Policy explains what information we access, how we use it, and what choices you have.

By using FastForward, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

2. Information We Access

FastForward connects to Strava via OAuth to access the following data on your behalf:

• Athlete profile: first name and profile photo, optionally displayed on your card
• Activity list: activity names, sport type, distance, duration, elevation gain, average pace, and average heart rate
• Activity streams: heart rate, velocity, altitude, cadence, distance, and gradient data points used to generate in-app charts and the km splits table

We also process the following through Apple's payment infrastructure:

• In-app purchase receipts, validated via RevenueCat to confirm your active subscription status

We do not collect your email address, precise location, device advertising identifier, or any information beyond what is listed above.

3. How We Use Your Data

All data is used solely to generate visual export cards within the app:

• Activity metrics are displayed as text elements on your card (distance, pace, elevation, heart rate)
• Stream data is rendered as charts embedded in the card design (pace chart, splits table, cadence chart, gradient chart, grade adjusted pace)
• Your profile photo and name are used only if you choose to include them in your card
• Purchase receipts determine whether your FastForward Pro subscription is active

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral analytics, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is described above.

4. Data Storage and Security

All Strava data is processed and stored on your device only:

• Activity data is cached locally in SQLite on your device to avoid redundant API calls
• No Strava activity data is transmitted to or stored on any external server owned or operated by us
• Your Strava OAuth token is stored in the device's secure keychain and is never shared or logged
• Exported card images are saved to your photo library only when you explicitly tap the export button

We never sell, rent, trade, or share your Strava data with any third party for any purpose.

5. Third-Party Services

FastForward integrates with the following third-party services:

• Strava: the source of your activity data, accessed under the Strava API Agreement. Strava's own Privacy Policy governs how Strava handles your data on their platform.
• RevenueCat: used to validate in-app subscription purchases. RevenueCat may receive your anonymized device identifier and Apple purchase receipt for this purpose. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple / Google: payments are processed through the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). See Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

No other third-party SDKs, analytics tools, crash reporters, or advertising networks are included in the app.

6. Data Retention

Locally cached activity data is retained only as long as you keep the app installed. You can clear all cached data at any time by disconnecting your Strava account from within the app settings. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data permanently.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• Disconnect Strava: open the app settings and tap "Disconnect Strava." This revokes the app's access token and clears all cached activity data from your device immediately.
• Revoke access via Strava: you can also revoke FastForward's access directly from your Strava account settings under "My Apps," at any time.
• Delete all data: uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data, including cached activities and your OAuth token.

8. Children's Privacy

FastForward is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the app and provided personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will notify you within the app.
